The local conditions and the genius loci had a decisive influence on the design of the house. Nestled into the hillside on the right bank of Lake Zurich, the modern, timeless villa sits enthroned in exciting harmony and from the outside, the four storeys, which open up to the unique mountain and lake view, appear as an atmospherically composed ensemble. The generous sliding windows run along the entire south façade. Natural stone and window fronts, closed and open, are skillfully balanced. The windows also provide a view of the fabulous panorama framed by the lush greenery of the garden when swimming laps in the indoor pool. Inside the new building, the sequence of rooms is based on the «mid-century modern» architectural style.
